Sell Your Watch
Sell your Omega.
Omega is the brand where owners most often undervalue what they have. The right Speedmaster reference, a first-generation Seamaster, or an unusual Constellation can be worth well beyond what the general market assumes about the name.
What I Look At
What actually moves the number.
Speedmaster references are their own world
The caliber, the crystal, the bezel insert, and the bracelet reference all matter, and the differences between them are not obvious from a catalogue photo. This is the family where a careful read is worth the most to you.
Original bracelets carry real value
A correct period bracelet with the right end links can be a significant fraction of what a vintage Omega is worth. If you have the original in a drawer somewhere, it is worth finding before you sell.
Honest patina beats a refinish
Tropical and evenly aged dials have a following. A relumed or repainted dial does not. I would rather see the watch as it is.
The Lineup
Omega models I buy most often.
This is not an exhaustive list. If yours is not on it, ask anyway. My working floor is around 10,000 dollars, with exceptions for exceptional pieces.
Questions
What people ask me about Omega.
Is my Omega above your usual floor?
My working floor is around 10,000 dollars, and plenty of Omegas sit below it. Vintage Speedmasters, precious metal pieces, and rarer Seamasters often sit above it. Send me the reference and I will tell you straight either way, and if it is not a fit I will point you somewhere better.
Is the first number the number I actually get?
It is an estimate and I say so every time. I give you a range from the reference, the condition you describe, and what the market is doing that week. Once the watch is in my hands and authenticated, I confirm the final number. If it moves, I tell you exactly what moved it.
What if I do not like the final offer?
I ship it back to you, insured, at my cost. No obligation and no fee. That is the whole reason I would rather give you an honest range up front than a flattering one.
How do I get paid?
Wire transfer, sent the same day we agree on the final number. I confirm your banking details with you on a second channel before anything moves.
Ready When You Are
Send me the reference and a few photos.
I will come back with a range and the reasoning behind it. Every number is an estimate until I authenticate the watch in hand.
