Metal before model
A gold or two-tone Navitimer and a steel one are different markets. Tell me the case metal first and the reference second and the estimate comes together quickly.
The bracelet matters more than people think
Original Breitling bracelets, particularly the older Pilot and Rouleaux styles, are expensive to replace. Having the correct one, in good condition, is a real part of the number.
Chronograph function gets checked
I run the chronograph, the reset, and the date change on arrival. If something is not working, tell me up front. It rarely kills a deal and it always costs less to disclose than to have found.

Will a Breitling clear your floor?
Some do and many do not. Precious metal, vintage, and limited references are the ones that usually clear it. Send me the reference and I will give you a straight answer rather than a maybe.
Is the first number the number I actually get?
It is an estimate and I say so every time. I give you a range from the reference, the condition you describe, and what the market is doing that week. Once the watch is in my hands and authenticated, I confirm the final number. If it moves, I tell you exactly what moved it.
What if I do not like the final offer?
I ship it back to you, insured, at my cost. No obligation and no fee. That is the whole reason I would rather give you an honest range up front than a flattering one.
How do I get paid?
Wire transfer, sent the same day we agree on the final number. I confirm your banking details with you on a second channel before anything moves.
